Green Summit at Metro Hall Toronto:
A highlight of our year was the Green Summit held on October 6th, 2023 at Metro Hall in Toronto, where we brought together over 80 like-minded guests, speakers, and enthusiasts passionate about green living and sustainable practices. This was possible with the full support and coordination from IWB, Immigrant Women in Business. The event was a platform for insightful discussions and a collective commitment towards a more environmentally conscious community. The event was a great success and helped raise awareness about the importance of sustainable living.
Sampling Centre in Dhaka:
In January 2023, we established a 500-sq. ft. Jute Sampling Center. This facility is a hub for innovation, allowing us to showcase the beauty and potential of jute products to enthusiasts, partners, and collaborators.
Meetings and Collaborations:
Throughout the year, we engaged in productive meetings with industry experts, buyers, and stakeholders who share our vision for a greener future. These collaborations have strengthened our network and we will together continue to shape our sustainable initiatives.
New Product Developments:
Our focus is now on new product developments. Jute Avenue is currently working on creating solutions for our clients, particularly in the form of wine bags, functional tote bags, and pet toys. What makes these products truly special is that they are 100% biodegradable and cruelty-free, aligning with our mission to provide sustainable alternatives without compromising on quality or style.
